When Drs. Susan and Thomas Truitt acquired this location from a retiring optometrist, it was small, had a more traditional medical feel and the display of glasses felt like an afterthought. It was important to them to engage their patients and have glasses accessible throughout the patient experience. We created an active waiting area so patients could browse before their exam. We created custom branded millwork, including mirror cabinets to store the finished prescriptions and allow patients to come in and conveniently grab them. Maximizing space was key for this location. We added a small addition to the rear of the practice to allow for a second exam lane, improving patient flow.
